Anjuna Beach, a popular hippy hang out, is located 8 kms west of Mapusa. A flea market, where Tibetan, Kashmiri and Gujarati trinkets and handicrafts are sold, is held here every wednesday.

Mouth-Watering specialities from Indian and Western cuisine are also available. There are also a couple of bars in the area. The market can be reached easily through the traditional fishing boats.
