Peermade is a small hill station on the way to Thekkady and Kottayam. It is a fertile land situated at an altitude of 914 mt. This tiny and cool hill-station, interspersed with waterfalls and open grass lands, is full of rubber, tea, coffee, pepper and cardamom plantation. It was the summer palace of Travancore rajas.
