Kathmandu Valley 

The Valley of ancient temples, stupas and enchanting beauty has three major ancient cities - Kathmandu (Kantipur), Patan (Lalitpur) and Bhadgaon (Bhaktapur) among many other small settlements endowed with many cultural and social heritages. 

These three cities are famous for their grand courtyards, architecture grandeur of its historical monuments, magnificent colors of festivities and true hospitality of the local people.

The Kathmandu valley, is the main commercial hub of Nepal. It is also its capital city. But it is also a living, breathing museum, with streets that run by ancient temples and Durbar Squares with casual familiarity.

Pashupatinath Temple
Situated in Kathmandu, this 400 year old shrine is one of the most sacred Hindu pilgrimage in the world. Pashupatinath lies 5 km east of the city center. The richly ornamented pagoda houses the sacred Linga or phallic symbol of lord Shiva. Chronicles indicate the temple’s existence prior to 400 A.D.

Pokhara

The Pokhara Valley, situated at a distance of 200 km west of Kathmandu, is one of the most beautiful and spell bound spot of Nepal, is enchanted by its lovely lakes Phewa, Begnas and Rupa. 

Pokhara is situated at an altitude of 827 mt from the sea-level, offers the magnificent views of Mt. Dhaulagiri, Mt. Manaslu, Mt. Machhapuchhre (The Fish Tail), five peaks of Mt. Annapurna range those attract the trekkers to enjoy a relaxing holiday in the valley area.

It is a perfect blend of fascination mountains, beautiful lakes (offer fishing boating and swimming), artistic and sacred temples, caves and exciting spots such as Sarangkot, Naudanda and others for day hiking.

Pokhara is well connected by air as well or by road from Kathmandu and Bhairahawa.

Lumbini

Lumbini, is the most important pilgrimage place for the Buddhist. At the age of 35 Gautam Buddha. Lumbini, the birthplace of this great sage, acquired the holy status as a site of pilgrimage for all the Buddhists and peace seekers of the world. The Buddha himself spoke of the importance of Lumbini for the aeons to come as the first and foremost pilgrimage site among the famous Catumahasthana, the four important holy places. Historically, the region is an exquisite treasure - trove of ancient ruins and antiquities, dating back to pre-christian era.

The site, described as a beautiful garden in the Buddha's time still retain its legendary charm and beauty. The garden of Lumbini mentioned as Canana, Lumbini Vatica in early scriptures is situated on the bank of river Telar at the eastern edge of the Sakya Kingdom of Kapilvastu.

Chitwan National Park

Centuries old Royal Chitwan National Park is among the   best areas for wildlife viewing in Asia, the diverse flora and fauna of this National Parks attracts visitors from all over the world. Situated about 146 km south- west of Kathmandu. This is one of the Nepal's largest forest regions with a wide range of wildlife- the rare great one horned rhinoceros, several species of deer sloth bear, leopard, wild boar, fresh water dolphin, crocodile, more than 350 species of birds and the elusive Royal Bengal Tiger.

Visitors to Chitwan can experience elephant back excursions nature walks, canoe trips, from window and on jungle treks. There are several authorized agencies to organize such safaris. Visitors can also take river raft, driving from Kathmandu to the river Trishuli to Soti Khola.

Sirubari Village

Popularly known as the  the first model village situated 20 km. Southwest of Pokhara, designed to experience village life tourism. This village is natural vantage point to view a panoramic view of western Himalayas such as Annapurna to Dhaulagiri. It offers a unique experience of home-stay which enables foreign visitors to stay with local Gurung family members.
