The state of Tasmania has a wide range of

ALL TERRAIN TOURING

Tasmania's extensive system of limestone and dolomite caves

superb dolerite, quartzite and granite cliffs of Australia's most

DIVING
Visibility for the divers is generally excellent and there
is a rich variety of marine habitats, including some unique to Tasmania,
such as the amazing 30 mt ( 90 ft ) giant kelp forests off the Tasman
Peninsula. With 5400 km ( 3600 miles ) of coastline, and hundreds
of offshore rocks, reefs and islands, there's scope for every kind
of temperate - water diving experience, from snorkelling to deep scuba
dives.
GOLF
With more than 80 golf courses in
a compact island, Tasmania is a perfect destination for a golfing
vacation. The style and scenery of our golf courses are as widely
varied as the Tasmanian landscape.
SEA KAYAKING
The bays, inlets and estuaries of this state are a sea
canoeist's paradise, with the choice of day paddles in sheltered waters
or exposed crossings to offshore islands. The coastal scenery is dramatic,
and it's not unusual to be joined by a pod of friendly and curious
dolphins.
RAFTING
River rafting on the Franklin, Derwent, Picton, Arthur,
the South Esk, Mersey and Meander Rivers is an amazing experience.

WILDERNESS FLIGHTS
Just 40 minutes by air from Hobart is the remote World
Heritage Wilderness Area, where you can be on a sweeping stretch of
sea-washed sand, with the Southern Ocean for company. On the way,
you'll traverse the rugged peaks and ancient quartzite ranges of the
South West - below, mountain lakes sparkle, and impenetrable scrub
