The Tourist Complex of A.P Tourism at Shamirpet is located at the vicinity of the man-made Jawahar lake, which is 27 km from Secunderabad on the Hyderabad Karimnagar road.

The complex has many cottages and restaurant, an enchanting picnic spot and an adjoining deer park run by the Forest Department.
