This huge and impressive beehive-shaped structure, that served as the state grainary, was constructed in 1786 by Captain John Garstin. This massive structure is 29 mt high and the walls are 3.6 mt wide at the base. The stairways winding around this monument offers a magnificent panoramic view of the city and the Ganga flowing by.
