Raj Ghat is situated on the banks of the river Yamuna. "Hey Ram", the last words of Mahatma Gandhi are inscribed on a simple square platform of black marble where people pay homage to the Father of the nation. The platform is situated amongst lush gardens. The cremation spots of Jawaharlal Nehru, Indira Gandhi, Rajiv Gandhi and Sanjay Gandhi are just a short walk away.
