Ankleshwar is the biggest industrial zone of Asia. A number of chemical, pharmaceutical, paints, textile etc, industries are established here.

It also has religious significance as the famous Shri Ankleshwar Tirth is in the vicinity. There are four digamabar jain temple, Chintamani Parsvanath temple which has a 150 mt hugh brown color idol of Bhagwan Chintamani parsvanath; Neminath mandir; Adinath mandir and Mahavir Swami mandir.
