The museum in the temple contains relics of the old Somnath shrine. Remains of the temple can be seen here. There are pottery shards, a seashell collection and a (strange) glass case of water bottles containing samples from the Danube, Nile, St Lawrence, Tigris River Plate and even Australian Murray, as well as seawater from Tasmania and New Zealand.
