On the Solan-Rajgarh road there is a small village known as Ochhghat. It is 18 km from Solan. Here is located the famous Dolanji Bon monastery also known as 'Yungdrung Bon monastery' being run by Yungdrung Bon Monastic Centre. It was founded in 1969 by the Abbot Lungtog Tenpai Nyima. There are about 120 monks here and on the eve of New year three sacred Bon dances are performed here.
