A four storey wooden building in the middle of the lovely forested parkland, known as Dhungri van vihar. The temple is known as Dhungri or the Hadimba temple, erected in 1553, is dedicated to the Goddess Hadimba. It features, intricate wooden carvings of dancers and characters from various Hindu stories. Horns of bull and other animals decorate the walls. Every May there is a major festival at the temple where sacrifices are carried out in honour of Hadimba Devi.
