Kalka, situated in the foothills of the Shivalik range of mountains. The kalka road stretches from Kalka to Shimla and further to the Indo-Tibetan border.

Kalka is also famous for its Toy Train journey from Kalka to Shimla. The track rises from Kalka at 640 mt to the cool mountains of Shimla at 2,060 mt. One can see picturesque sceneries on its way. It is a journey never to be forgotten.
