Beyond the Solang Valley at the foot of the Rohtang Pass, lies the village of Kothi (14 km). It is a picturesque spot and was, until recently, a convenient camping site for trekkers when the Rohtang Pass had to be crossed on foot. It is not far from the deep chasm which is the fount of river Beas. You can, if you like, stay overnight at the PWD Resthouse. Don’t miss the Rahara falls (2,501 m) about 4 km from Kothi.
