The Nako village in Kinnaur is located at an altitude of 3662 mt above sea level, at a distance of 107 km from Recong Peo . Nako is built around a lake and is one of Kinnaur's most charming villages. The footprints of Saint Padmasambhava are regarded to be imprinted here and the village also has a gompa. Among the trek routes, this is the base for the trek to Pargial peak and is en route to the Tashigang monastery.
