The Narayan Temple at Udaipur is a few km from Chamba. There are two other images of white marble, flanking the image of Lord Narayana, which represent Raja Udaisingh and his brother Lachhman Singh. Both of them were murdered where the temple stands. Besides, there is a slab or a Sati pillar on which the effigies of the four queens with the raja and the eight maid servants, who committed Sati at the raja's death, are engraved.
