| Gurudwara Sri Paonta Saheb |
The most impressive thing to see in town is the renowned Gurudwara Sri Paonta Saheb, situated right on the banks of the Yamuna. This is where Govind Singh is supposed to have written a major part of his book, Dassam Granth.

| Simbalbara Sanctuary |
This sanctuary is located in Paonta Valley of Sirmour District. This area bears beautiful dense Sal forests with grassy glades. This is probably the most picturesque area of Shiwaliks.
