Sangla valley,38 km from Recong Peo, is also known as the Baspa. It has been recognised as the most beautiful valley in the Himalayas. Sangla is famous for it's fine traditional wooden architecture, thick forests, variety of wildlife, friendly people, and spectacular mountains. It is also a popular spot for fishing especially for trouts. Sangla has a five storey, wooded fort and a couple of ancient temples.
