Sabiramala is stiuated on the mountain range of Eastern Ghats at an altitude of 914 mt above the sea level and is acessible only by foot, from Pamba (4 km). The temple is dedicated to Lord Ayyappa who is regarded as the guardian of mountaineers. The best season to visit is from Nov-Jan.
