Famous for it's Sri Omkar Mandhata temple, this island is situated at the confluence of the Narmada and Kaveri rivers. This temple, dedicated to Lord Shiva, has drawn Hindu pilgrims for centuries on account of it's jyotirlingam. The setting here is stunning and the temple is constructed from the local soft stone.
