 Madhav National Park offers abundant opportunities for sighting a variety of wildlife and avifauna. spread over an area of about 156 sq km, it also has an artificial lake.

  Chhatris (Shivpuri)
 Chhatris of Madho Rao Scindia and the dowager queen Maharani Sakhya Raje Scindia are set in a formal Mughal garden, synthesising the architectural idioms of Hindu and Islamic styles with their shikhara-type spires and Rajput and Mughal pavilions.

  Madhav Vilas Palace (Shivpuri)
 Standing upon a natural eminence, the elongated rose-pink summer palace of the Scindias is a fine example of colonial architecture. The 'mahal', is remarkable for it's marble floors, iron columns, graceful terraces and the Ganpati mandap.

  Sakhya Sagar Boat Club (Shivpuri)
 The Sakhya sagar lake is a habitat of a variety of reptiles like mugger, Indian python etc. On the shores of the lake and connected to it by a broad pier is the Sakhya Sagar Boat Club, an airy, delicate structure with glass panels.

  George Castle (Shivpuri)
 Deep within the forests of the park is the turreted George Castle built by Jiyaji Roa Scindia. From here the view of the lake is unparalleled and the best time to visit the castle is at sunset when the lake below mirrors the changing hues of the evening sky.
