Crawford Market, otherwise known as the Mahatma Phule Market, is situated to the north of Victoria Terminus. This indoor
market is the last built of the British Bombay, prior to the establishment of the central bazzars. Previously used as the
wholesale produce market, it is now used as fruits, vegetables and meat market - visiting which is not everybodys cup of tea.
Located to the south of this market is the J. J. School of Art, where Rudyard Kipling was born in 1865.
