Malabar Hills is one of the best suburbs of Mumbai. The residents in the area are favoured with paronomic views of the Back Bay.
Located on the hill top are the Pherozeshah Mehta Gardens, otherwise known as the Hanging gardens, which provide an interesting haunt and are highly appreciated and favoured by children. Kamala Nehru park, situated in the immediate vicinity, offer some of the best views of the Mumbai city.
To the southern end is the temple of the sand Lord, Walkeshwar. Below the temple is the tank of Banganga, it is said that water sprouted from this spot when Lord Rama shot a bana (arrow) into the ground. Hence it is a sacred Hindu spot.
