To the north of Mumbai lie these 3 calm and pleasant beaches. Marve -- an attractive, intriguing fishing village which provides breathtaking sights of sunset and sunrise from the low-lying hills.

Gorai and Manori, a little further away, though a trifle crowded with revellers, are popular for their wonderful all night beach parties. Manori is a sleepy beach near the Portuguese flavored fishing village. It is in a rural enviroment, on an island off Mumai's north-western shore, about 55 km from the city centre.
