Mokochung, situated at an altitude of 1325 meters above sea-level, is a picturesque town at the centre of the culture and traditions of the Ao Nagas. The main festivals of the Aos ‘Moatsu’ and ‘Tsungremmong’ are celebrated during the first week of May and August, respectively.
