The Konnark Beach or Chandrabhaga beach is approx. 3km from the Sun temple. The beach is famous for it's long strech of clean sands and cool blue sea making rapids in rolling waves, the beach has it's own lovely serenity.

This part of the beach is much quieter than the Puri beach and you can enjoy the beautiful sunset here. The immense backdrop of the Sun temple looks magnificent when illuminated in the evening.
