Keshgarh Sahib situated at Anandpur is considered the birth place of the Khalsa, Guru Gobind Singh Ji founded the Khalsa order in 1699.

The Khanda (double edged sword) and some other weapons used by Guru Gobind Singh are at display here, the Khanda was used by the Guru to prepare the amrit (sweet water) used in the first Khalsa initiation ceremony.
