 One of the most important places for Muslim pilgrimage, Ajmer Sharief Dargah a second Mecca for the Muslims of south Asia, is the place where great tomb of Saint Khwaja Moin-ud-din-chisti of persia, are buried.

  Shah Jahan's Mosque (Ajmer)
 In the entire surroundings of dargah, this mosque is the most exotic structure. Made of white marble this mosque has intricately carved with trellis-work.

  Adhai-din-ka-Jhonpra (Ajmer)
 Adhai-din-ka-jhonpra was constructed in the year 1153 A.D. A magnificient piece of Indo-Islamic architecture, the mosque is situated behind the dargah. Legend has it that it was completed in two and a half days, hence the name adhai-din (two and a half days).

  Akbar's Palace (Ajmer)
 Located near the main post office of the city, Akbar's Palace was built in 1570. The palace has now been constructed into a government museums. It houses a good collection of stone sculptures some of which dates back to the 8th century A.D. Ancient weapons and miniature paintings can also be seen in the museum.
