Located in Alwar, bordering the state of Haryana, Bhiwadi is a fast growing industrial town of Rajasthan. Recognising it's importance as an industrial town the government has Integrated Area Development Project for the region. It is the regional centre (priority town) of the National Capital Region and forms part of the Regional plan 2001 for NCR.

It is very near to Delhi and is easily accessible through highway No.8. Industrialists from the states of Punjab, Delhi and several other parts of India are showing interest in Bhiwadi. As a result of this development the Rajasthan Housing Board has increased it's activities in this town and has introduced several schemes such as CHS BHIWADI, SCHEME AT SECT. IV & VII, MILAKPUR GUJAR, etc. Facilities like Banking, Tele Communications, Transportation, Hospitals, Water, Electricity, etc have been increased and improved in Bhiwadi.
