Completed by Maharana Jagat Singh in 1757, the summer lake palace once provided shelter to the prince Khurram, better known as the famous emperor Shah Jahan.

The entire structure has been modernized and new rooms added, always keeping in mind the ambience of the palace. The Jag Mahal Palace has been converted into a Hotel.
