This temple is dedicated to Karni Mata, who, according to the legends, foretold the victory of Rao Bika. It is situated at the village called Deshnok which is 30 kms south of Bikaner. The 600 years old temple is ornated by huge silver gates and marble carvings which were donated by maharaja Ganga Singh. The belief here that, the souls of the devotees of Mata reside in rats and so rats are considered to be holy here.
