Neemrana, famous for it's fort was once the capital of Prithviraj Chauhan. It gained prominence when it became the capital of the descendents of Prithviraj Chauhan III. The fort was built in 1464 by Raj Deo. This 500 years old fabulous Neemrana fort palace is a popular weekend getaway from Delhi, on the Jaipur-Alwar-Delhi route.
