  Pemayangtse Monastery (Gyalshing)
 Pemayangtse Monastery is one of the oldest monasteries in Sikkim. Originally established by Lhatsun Chempo, one of the reverend Lamas to have performed the sacred ceremony of the first Chogyal (Religious Monarch) of Sikkim.

  Sangacholing Monastery (Gyalshing)
 Sangacholing Monastery is situated on a ridge above Pelling and famous Pemayangtse Monastery. Built in 1697 A.D, it is considered to be one of the oldest monasteries in Sikkim.

  Khecheopalri Lake (Gyalshing)
 Khecheopalri Lake is considered as one of the sacred lakes both for the Buddhist and Hindus. The lake remains hidden in the rich forest cover. There is a motorable road from Pemayangtse right up to the lake area.

  Dubdi Monastery (Gyalshing)
 Dubdi Monastery is located on a hilltop, above Yuksam. Surrounded by lush green forests, it was the first monastery established and was where the first monarch of Sikkim was crowned in 1641. It can be approached by trekking only.

 Yuksom was the first capital of Sikkim, where the first Chogyal of the Sikkim was consecrated in 1641 A.D by three learned lamas.

  Tashiding Monastery (Gyalshing)
 Tashiding Monastery is famous for the most holy chorten known as 'Thong Wa-Rang-To' which literally means "saviour by mere sight".

  Pelling (Gyalshing)
 Pelling is fast developing as a hill resort. Situated at an altitude of 6,800 ft, it offers great views of the entire mountain range when the weather is clear. It is 10 km from west district head-quaters of Gyalshing.

  Rabdentse Ruins (Gyalshing)
 Rabdentse Ruins was the second capital of the erstwhile kingdom of Sikkim after Yuksom and till the year 1814 A.D, the king of Sikkim had ruled the state from this place. The scenic view from the top of the ruins scanning across deep valley to the mystic heights of the Khangchendzonga ranges is something to be cherished.
