Glenmorgan is an ecologically rich forestry spot lying 17 km from Ooty. An Electricity Board winch trolley carries people from Glenmorgan viewpoint to power house at Singara. All 4 km of the winch track passes through wildlife habitat. Prior permission of authorities is needed to enter the viewpoint zone. There are ten Toda (tribal) settlements in this area.
