Namakkal, the town that lies at the foot of a small hillock, is famous for it's two rock cut cave temples, one dedicated to Narasimhaswamy and the other to Ranganathaswamy and the greatness of Lord Hanuman which is bout 20 ft high and is carved out of a single stone.
