Situated

sea level at the foot of the Tien Shan mountains. The permanent
snows of Kyrgz Ala-Too range are as close as they look 40 km from
the southern outskirts. Waterfalls rush down the canalized Ala-Archa
river into the town (A picturesque National Park situated at the
base of the foothills at an altitude of 2,100 meters above sea level.

with bright carpet of flowers).
The main tourist attraction in Kyrgyzstan " Lake Yssy Kul "
is one of the most famous lakes in the world and is the pearl of
the country. Situated at an altitude of 1000 meters this lake is
surrounded on all sides by snow-covered range. The specialty of
the lake is that the water in this lake does not freeze in winter
though the temperature goes down to -20 DC. Kyrgyzstan which was
closed to foreigners till recently, is now open to welcome you.
